GFH in English

GFH (Gymnastikföreningen i Helsingfors) is a Swedish-speaking gymnastics club operating in Helsinki. We offer gymnastics, dance and exercise groups for children, young people and adults of different ages. GFH is a member of Finland’s Swedish Gymnastics Federation (FSG) and Suomen Voimisteluliitto – Finland’s Gymnastics Federation. 

Our club was founded in 1876 and is thus the second oldest gymnastics club in Finland. Our aim is to be an active and attractive club focusing on the joy of movement and experiences. An important part of our activities is to offer our members opportunities to train different programs, as well as to perform and participate in various gymnastics festivals. During the years, GFH has participated in both national and international festivals such as the Finnish Swedish Gymnastics Association’s FSG festivals, the Finnish Gymnastics Association’s Finland Gymnaestradas, FIG’s World Gymnaestrada and the Golden Age Gym Festival arranged by European Gymnastics.
